Seven Star Marine Sales are pleased to exclusively present to the market Spyhop - a very clean, highly-optioned example of the ever-popular Seawind 1000xl. This model is highly regarded in both the recreational and charter fleets for its space, comfort, airiness and ease of handling.

The caring third owners have continued to keep the boat maintained, updated and consequently cruise/turn-key ready for her next lucky owners and Spyhop has never been chartered.

The spacious cockpit area is well-ventilated by forward facing opening windows and has seating for more than 12 people when used for day outings. It also functions well as a spacious dining area for a cruising couple or family and the large dining table drops to become a space for extra guests to sleep. The seating was recently reupholstered with a neutral Sunbrella fabric and extra saloon cushions are included for wet seating.

Seawind 1000 xls make a wonderful cruising platform for coastal and international passages. Updated rigging means all sails can be controlled from the safety of the cockpit. Handling is easier with the twin helm positions and Spyhop has completed many long passages single-handedly with ease. Her performance is assisted by a fully-battened cruising laminate, square-top Ullman main sail with 3 reefs; furling Ullman jib, a bow-sprit mounted screecher and a spinnaker with snuffer.

Additionally, she's powered by 2 x 9.9HP 4-stroke long shaft Yamaha outboards that are clear from the water during sailing providing drag free performance.

The hulls include attractive wood features making the cabins feel like a waterfront home. The spacious owner's cabin to port, offers a good-sized berth, plenty of storage, and privacy plus a single berth forward if required. Also, on the port side, is a well-designed head with sink, toilet and heated shower.

The starboard hull offers an ergonomic galley with a large refrigerator and freezer, a gas stovetop, and oven and plenty of storage. The enclosed double aft cabin and a single forward berth plus an office/tv area with L-shaped seating and a folding table are well-designed and roomy.

Extended cruising is easy with 2 x 120W solar panels, a Rutland wind generator, upgraded house battery capacity, autopilot and AIS along with recently updated Raymarine navigation software. Her range is maximised with built-in integral 121-litre fuel tanks and a 401-litre water tank plumbed into dual-stage galley drinking water filtration.

Other features include an electric anchor winch, a covered Highfield RIB with a reliable Honda 5 HP engine, and on the rear deck, a stainless steel BBQ and a heated deck shower.

At anchor, enjoy the spacious foredeck including several seating options, upgraded trampolines and a folding swim and beach ladder. The extended hulls of the Seawind 1000xl make for improved sailing performance and the lengthened stern swim steps make it easier boarding the dinghy.
